5 Life Lessons From Feeding Goats

I usually write about Python programming. But not today.

So I went to a goat farm to feed some goats. And I noticed stuff. Stuff that could translate into life lessons for some of us!

1) Goats at the back don’t get fed

The goats are behind the fence, while us feeders feed them from the other side of the fence. In order to be fed, the goats had to come near the fence.

Some goats didn’t bother coming near the fence — they just did their thing in the background. I couldn’t reach or interact with them, so I didn’t feed them at all.

If you don’t chase after what you want, you have a 0% chance of getting it

2) Goats who come in front get fed

Conversely, to even have a chance at eating, the goats had to come to me. They had to take proactive action, and step forward to the fence where I was waiting to feed them.
